POSITION: Research Biochemist / Neurobiologist

LOCATION: Beltsville, MD

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The position is located in the Beltsville Human Nutrition Research Center, Beltsville, MD. The incumbent will be part of a team working on the role of polyphenols and other natural products on the function of insulin with emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease, nerve and brain function. Incumbent should be highly motivated, independent worker able to complete assigned projects.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Ph.D. in biochemistry, or a related field is required. Experience in cell culture techniques, PCR, kinase assays and glucose transport preferred
